He Could Be Deleted, However

Every Saturday WTIT: The Blog brings you a meme calledSaturday 9. It’s not to say that this is a bright idea, but it is what we do. A woman named Crazy Sam started this meme because a prior popular Saturday meme specialist Lola had retired. So, Sam contacted all Lola’s participants and invited us to participate in her meme. Let's begin!

1. If someone, that you trusted, told you that your lover was cheating, would you believe them or not? I would not believe them. However, it might be worth a conversation.

2. What is something that you are disappointed about right now? The blogosphere is disappearing. I can feel it fade. I almost forgot to publish Saturday 9. I wrote the same eulogy for Dick Clark as a post on this blog and on facebook. On facebook I got a ton of response. Here I got one. Blogs are going the way of typewriters.

3. Jonathan Frid, who was the original Barnabas Collins on Dark Shadows from 1967-1971, passed away in Canada at the age of 87. Who is your favorite vampire? Jonathan Frid because he was practically a member of Kathy's family. Don't ask.

4. Should there be age limits on social networking sites such as facebook? No.

5. Tell us about your pets. Do you have one that you wish would run away? I only have a virtual pet, so he could not run away. He could be deleted, however.

6. Do you ever have a hard time with morals? No. Maybe I should have forgot to post. This sucks.

7. Did you make 'a plan' the first time you made love or did it just happen? I planned to put this, there. I might write a book about it.

8. Do you agree that fame is lousy or would you love to give it a try? Why? I'd give it a go.

9. Do you believe in forever, as in 'love forever'? I didn't before I met Kathy. Now, at our age, forever isn't all that long...

Enjoy your weekend.

I think the blogosphere is evolving. You're in radio, you know how that goes! Long format doesn't work so well on social networking. Neither does anonymity. I think it will be used for different things than Facebook and Twitter.

And your answer about true love is both hopeful and realistic. How very Bud!

Nice Barnabas answer...though we are not related, I admired him lots as a kid. Is it the beginning of the end for blog-memes? Hmmmmm...

Gal-

I like both, for the different reasons that you mention. But, we used to average 40 on Saturday 9 and hit 80 lots of times on Stealing. Now it's more like 20 and 30...

Kath-

You are TOO related....

I will be sorry if the blogosphere is fading, I like it, Don't care much for tweets!

Not a big Dark Shadows fan, sorry. I still like blogs, for reasons quite different than Facebook's purposes.

"put this, there" make me snort Dr. Pepper up my nose...not a good plan. ;-)

#9 your so sweet! :)

#2 I think you have to cross-post to facebook. I think that memes come and go. Some are loyal followers and other are fly-by-nighters, they leave a comment and you never hear from them again. Also, weather is a factor, good weather less comments.

I think there are die-hard bloggers. Of which I will be one.

Lord...I hope it's forever for the two of you. You both deserve it.

You know, I've noticed the same thing about the blogosphere. I think a lot of it has to do with Google changes. Every meme I do has lost people.I bet it's all Sarah Palin's fault. And Thom's.

Ramble...ramble...ramble...

Harriet-

It's odd for me to think.

But I think we do make it...
